Apply for the 2026 Christmas Village Market Grant

For its 19th year, Christmas Village will once again transform LOVE Park into a traditional open-air German Christmas market, bringing festive cheer to the heart of Philadelphia. During the holiday season, vendors will line the park’s walkways, offering a wide variety of unique gift items including handcrafted ornaments, jewelry, seasonal treats, and high-quality arts and crafts.

In partnership with Philadelphia Parks & Recreation, the Philadelphia Department of Commerce is proud to launch the seventh year of the Christmas Village Market Grant, which is designed to expand opportunities for local and emerging small businesses, helping them showcase and sell their products at Christmas Village.

The Christmas Village Market Grant is administered by the Department of Commerce.

Nonprofit organizations can apply now

The Christmas Village Market Grant application is open to nonprofit organizations.

The application deadline is September 18, 2026, at 5 p.m.

The selected organizations will be responsible for:

Identifying and working with Philadelphia vendors and micro-businesses.
Helping to set up vending space.
Navigating weekly inventory and managing the Christmas Village booths.
Assisting with merchandising, staffing, grant management, language access, technical assistance, schedule rotation, and more.

The program spotlights Philadelphia’s diverse entrepreneurs, who will be setting up shop with dynamic storefronts at LOVE Park, one of the city’s most popular public spaces managed by Philadelphia Parks & Recreation.

This type of local assistance allows small business vendors to be even more prepared for thousands of successful holiday shopping interactions.

Christmas Village is opening soon

Christmas Village will be open November 21-December 27, 2026.

These vendors, recruited by each organization, will be offering globally inspired and locally made crafts at Christmas Village. They will rotate on a weekly basis in wooden huts at LOVE Park.
