Getting To Matches

SEPTA/Public Transportation

From Metro/Bus: The B (Broad Street Line) provides direct service to Philadelphia Stadium (Lincoln Financial Field) via NRG Station. Riders should plan to arrive early since there may be a large number of people taking the B at the same time. Fans are also asked for their patience as capacity crowds anticipated post match. There is a free transfer to the B from the L and T routes at 15th Street/City Hall.

Airbnb has joined forces with Philadelphia Soccer 2026 to provide complimentary rides home on SEPTA’s B after all six FIFA World Cup™ matches in Philadelphia. The free-ride-home program is designed to expand access to safe, reliable transportation and help ensure all fans can fully participate in the FIFA World Cup experience.

Late‑night service will be added on every match day. The B and L will operate overnight, with trains running every 30 minutes, departing City Hall on the hour and half‑hour. Late night added service will only be provided to select stations:

On the L: Frankford Transit Center, Front-Girard, 2nd St, 8th-Market, 15th St/City Hall, Drexel Station at 30th St, 40th St and 69th St Transit Center

On the B: Fern Rock Transit Center, Olney Transit Center, Erie, Broad-Girard, Broad-Spring Garden, Race-Vine, 15th St/City Hall, Walnut-Locust, Oregon, NRG

The L1 Owl & B1 Owl will operate normal schedule, serving all stops, on match days.

Information and updates or changes to service will be published on SEPTA’s System Status page.  Visit SEPTA’s 2026 page for additional details.

From Regional Rail: Those arriving on Regional Rail can take the B to travel to Philadelphia Stadium, too. Exit at either Suburban Station or Jefferson Station – both of these are just a short walk away from 15th Street/City Hall Station, where you’ll be able to board the B.

From Amtrak: Visitors arriving via Amtrak to William H. Gray III 30th St Station can transfer to SEPTA by exiting through the doors facing the west side of 30th Street and walking to nearby Drexel Station at 30th Street, which is served by the L and T. You can take either of these lines to 15th St/City Hall and then transfer to the B for continued service to the stadiums. Visitors are encouraged to refer to the Northeast U.S. Rail Guide for Summer 2026 to understand train travel for the summer’s major sporting events.

From PATCO: If you’re taking PATCO into Philadelphia from New Jersey, riders can take the B to travel to the stadiums. Exit PATCO at 12th/13th & Locust Street Station. Take the escalator or stairs to concourse level, exit PATCO’s fare gates and follow signs to exit to street level. Head north on S 13th Street toward St. James Street, then left onto Walnut Street. SEPTA’s Walnut/Locust Station is on the corner of Broad & Walnut streets.

Rideshare

During match days, rideshare drop off and pickups will only be accommodated inside of designated areas of FDR Park at Broad Street and Pattison Avenue. Riders should check their rideshare apps for additional information as well as follow directions from digital messaging signs at the stadium complex that will also provide real time information and updates.

Driving

A limited amount of Philadelphia Stadium parking passes has been made available to purchase for match ticket holders only. Official FIFA World Cup parking must be pre-purchased for all matches, and spots are limited, so secure yours before they sell out. Ticket holders can purchase parking passes on the official website.

Neighborhood parking management will be conducted the same way as an Eagles game or other event at the stadiums. There’s no official management north of Packer Avenue, but police details will help prevent unauthorized parking. There is no parking in FDR park on match days.

Accessible Options

Accessible transportation services are available to help you get to and from the stadium with ease, including accessible parking, pick-up and drop-off zones, and mobility support.

To plan your visit and view all available services, head to FIFA’s dedicated Accessibility Services page.

FIFA also provides additional accessibility services in-stadium, including mobility assistance, audio-descriptive commentary and sensory rooms. Fans in and outside the stadium can also utilize the Sign Language broadcasts for all matches.

Road Closures

There is one main road closure that will be implemented during match days.

  • 11th Street, from Pattison Avenue to Terminal Avenue will be closed starting at 7 a.m. on each match day.  The match days are listed above.

Additional closures at the stadium complex may be implemented by the Philadelphia Police Department up to 90 minutes before or after the matches based on conditions in the interest of public safety. These additional road closures may be implemented on the ingress prior to match start times and on the egress at the conclusion of matches. Roads will reopen when conditions allow.

Motorists can check conditions on more than 40,000 roadway miles by visiting www.511PA.com and their designated event page 511PA.com/PhillyEvents. 511PA, which is free and available 24 hours a day, provides traffic delay warnings, weather forecasts, traffic speed information and access to more than 1,000 traffic cameras.

Stay connected to important information from the City, like road closures and event-related details. Text “CUPPHL” to 888-777 to receive free alerts from the Office of Emergency Management.

Fan Marches

Fan marches or fan walks are pre-game processions where supporters parade together from a designated assembly point to the stadium complex. They are part of soccer culture and usually include banners, fan chants, and exciting game day energy that Philadelphia is no stranger to. Fan marches are organized by official supporter groups and will follow the City’s special event permitting process.

To help with coordination of the fan marches, there are two pre-determined routes with assembly points. Fan marches will begin no less than 90 minutes before the match start to provide enough time to enter the stadium and will last no more than 45 minutes. The assembly points will have restrooms, hydration, and wayfinding.

Not every team will have a fan march and all confirmed marches will be communicated and shared prior to match day. “Temporary No Parking” signs will be posted and residents are encouraged – but not required- to relocate their vehicles until the march concludes.

Public Safety Information

Clear Bag Policy

All FIFA stadiums follow a clear bag policy to maintain a safe and efficient entry process only certain types of bags are allowed inside the stadium.

Ticket holders are only permitted to bring certain types of bags into Stadiums. These approved bags must be clear and made of plastic, vinyl, or PVC material. The purpose of clear bags is to allow security personnel to easily see the contents inside without having to open them. Those bags must not exceed 12 inches x 6 inches x 12 inches (30 cm x 30 cm x 15 cm).

Additionally, small clutch purses or wallets approximately the size of a hand are allowed, even if not clear, so long as they are no larger than 4.5 inches x 6.5 inches (or 11 cm x 16.5 cm).

Be aware that all bags must be inspected at the stadium entrance.

Fans are encouraged to review all essential pre-game information to ensure they are following stadium policy.

Water Bottle Policy

All fans will be permitted to bring in one, soft, plastic, 20 ounces (590ml), factory sealed disposable water bottle into any FIFA World Cup 2026 match in the USA and Canada. Fans will not be permitted to bring in hard sided, reusable water bottles due to safety and security reasons.

Prohibited Items

For the safety of fans, FIFA and the stadium have a list of prohibited items which include but is not limited to: weapons, explosives, flares, detonators, work tools, helmets, lighters, matches, smoke bombs, spray cans, etc.  All flags and banners must adhere to FIFA’s policy.

Anyone found to be carrying a prohibited item may be refused entry to the stadium. Be sure to review the prohibited items policy before matchday.

No Drone Zone

World Cup venues, fan festivals, and crowd locations are No Drone Zones. Flying drones near stadiums or over gatherings of people is illegal and dangerous. If you see a drone, report its location and description of the operator to the nearest public safety or event official. Read more about Federal Aviation Administration’s World Cup Safety Plan.

Ticketing

All ticket holders are encouraged to download the official FIFA World Cup 2026™ app to unlock everything you need for matchday and beyond. Tickets should be downloaded into the FIFA Ticketing app prior to travel to the stadium. Fans using WhatsApp are also encouraged to follow the FIFA World Cup 2026™ Official Fan Info WhatsApp Channel for real-time gameday updates.

FIFA strongly recommends purchasing tickets only through FIFA.com/tickets, the official and preferred sales hub for FIFA World Cup 2026™ tickets. Tickets sold on unofficial resale websites, social media, or through third-party vendors may be fake. These fraudulent tickets can look legitimate but may be rejected at the stadium gate, leaving you without entry on match day

Illegal Vending Enforcement

FIFA World Cup 2026 strictly protects its protected words, logos and images. Unauthorized use of trademarked terms of logos (including “FIFA”, “World Cup,” official logos, team crests, or images of the official FIFA World Cup 2026 trophy) has historically led to cease-and-desist letters, event shutdowns, and fines. Even strictly editorial usage of “FIFA World Cup 2026” is not permitted for restaurants, breweries, airports and single-branded sports retail stores.

Enforcement efforts related to unpermitted vending during the FIFA World Cup 2026 will increase in and around the stadium complex. Enforcement will be conducted by the Philadelphia Department of Licenses and Inspections Quality of Life Division (L&I QOL) code enforcement officers in coordination with the Philadelphia Police Department to identify and cite unpermitted merchandise sellers and illegal vendors operating near the stadium complex.

Individuals or businesses that are not approved vendors for the event may be subject to citations and confiscation of unauthorized merchandise or goods.

Business Resources
