The Department of Human Services (DHS) is hosting a job fair to recruit Juvenile Detention Counselor Trainees (JDCTs) at the Philadelphia Juvenile Justice Services Center (PJJSC).

JDCTs play a critical role in supporting youth at the PJJSC, a secure detention facility, by providing supervision, guidance, and care as they await court hearings.

At this job fair, representatives from DHS and the City’s Office of Human Resources will be on-site to assist candidates with the process and conduct interviews. Qualified applicants may receive conditional job offers the same day.

$49,448 – $53,818

Minimum Requirements: 

  • At least 60 college credits from an accredited college or university
