Gameday
Philadelphia Stadium, also known as Lincoln Financial Field, is the site for FIFA World Cup matches in Philadelphia.
Help keep the tournament safe and enjoyable for everyone by reviewing the prohibited items list before arriving.
Pyrotechnics of any kind, including fireworks and smoke bombs, are not allowed and strictly prohibited.
Water fountains can be located on the concourse behind Sections 103, 118, 122, C3, C19, C24, C38, 204 and 222.
Also, follow the clear bag policy and guidelines. 

  • Sunday, June 14, 7 p.m.: Group E (Ivory Coast vs. Ecuador)
  • Friday, June 19, 8:30 p.m.: Group C (Brazil vs. Haiti)
  • Monday, June 22, 5 p.m.: Group I (France vs. Iraq)
  • Thursday, June 25, 4 p.m.: Group E (Curaçao vs. Ivory Coast)
  • Saturday, June 27, 5 p.m.: Group L (Croatia vs. Ghana)
  • Saturday, July 4, 5 p.m.: Round of 16 (Winner Match 74 vs. Winner Match 77)

Fan Fest
In Philadelphia for the FIFA experience but not going to a game in-person? Philadelphia’s FIFA Fan Festival will be a continuous celebration of community, culture, music, and sport. As the heart of the FIFA World Cup experience for visitors and residents alike, Fan Festival will be free and open to the public. On match day, fans can expect watch parties, food and beverage offerings, world-class entertainment, and unforgettable activations, while non-match days will offer ticketed concert experiences.

Mass Transit
Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) is the region’s public mass transportation provider. 
SEPTA offers bus, regional rail, subway, elevated rail, and trolley service throughout the city and suburbs. Use SEPTA’s website or find them on X for schedules, maps, schedules, delays, and detours. The Orange Broad Street Line is the quickest way to get to Lincoln Financial Field. Exit at the last southbound stop, AT&T Station when going south to the stadium from Center City and north if coming back). Travel
If you’re using highways or streets to get around, check out the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation’s (PennDOT) real time traffic map on their website or social media for current conditions, including detours and closures. 

Report suspicious behavior
Public awareness plays a vital role in keeping everyone safe. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s “See Something, Say Something” campaign reminds us that security is a shared responsibility.
If you notice suspicious behavior, unattended items or activity that seems out of place, immediately report it to event staff, the Philadelphia Police Department by dialing 911, online, or to security personnel. Speaking up helps authorities respond quickly if something is wrong and ensures that our special events are safe, welcoming, and an enjoyable experience for everyone.
Do not try to open, move, cover or touch a suspicious item.  

Human Trafficking
Human trafficking is a concern not only when large special events occur, but year-round. Do you suspect someone is being forced to provide services through human trafficking? Contact the National Human Trafficking Hotline at 1-888-373-7888 or text BEFREE or HELP to  233733.

Make a plan
Know where you want to go and how you’re going to get there before you leave the door. Discuss an emergency meet-up location in case your friends or family gets separated. Look for landmarks or signs.
If bringing children, make sure they are wearing bright colors or distinct clothes. Take a picture of them before leaving and email it to yourself. Write your phone number on a bracelet, on their wrist, or a piece of paper in their pocket.
When you get to your location, be sure to look for the quickest way to exit if you need to.
Make sure you check the weather before you go and dress properly. Stay hydrated.

Weather
Philadelphia experiences warmer temperatures and severe storms in June and July. Make sure that you check the weather from our partners at the National Weather Service on their website and X before you attend an outdoor event and dress properly.  

Heat
The City is coordinating with partners to establish hospitality hubs at key locations along the walking routes to and from City Hall and the FIFA Fan Festival. These hubs will offer residents and visitors access to informational resources, wayfinding materials, shaded areas, refillable water stations, and restrooms.

In addition, the City is managing a digital resource hub to share timely updates, including heat health guidance, public safety information, and frequently asked questions for both residents and visitors. This hub will be continuously updated with new information throughout the year.

During a prolonged stretch of heat, the City’s Department of Public Health could declare a Heat Health Emergency which opens up cooling centers around the city which have access to drinking water.  

When warmer weather is in the forecast: 

  • Wear light, loose-fitting clothing.  
  • Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water, fruit juice, and other fluids.  
  • Avoid alcohol, caffeine, and sugary drinks.  
  • Wear sunscreen.
  • During hot and humid weather, if you have a respiratory condition like asthma, you may need to limit your time outside.  
  • Let someone know if you feel sick. If you start to feel dizzy, overheated, or nauseous, ask for help right away. A friend or event official can make sure you get medical attention as soon as possible.

Air Quality
Hot weather can factor into air quality, which can impact your health. Being aware of the air quality in Philadelphia is important, most of all to those who have pre-existing respiratory conditions like asthma.
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) may declare a Code Orange Air Quality Action Day when outdoor activity could impact sensitive groups.
