Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week is observed annually right before the holiday season begins.

For many, this season symbolizes time spent with family, but many people are not as fortunate. As people do come together to celebrate in their homes and share meals, the rise in homelessness and food insecurity will hopefully influence many take some time to think about those who do not have a safe place to call home or know where their next meal will come from.

This year, from November 16 to November 22, Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week 2025 educational, advocacy, service, and fundraising events will occur across the U.S., including right here in Philadelphia.
