It’s time to get excited about summer! This year, Parks & Rec summer camp registration opens on Monday, February 27.

Each year, Philadelphia Parks & Recreation’s neighborhood day camps serve children ages 6-12 at more than 100 recreation centers, playgrounds, and parks across the city.

Our campers love spending their summer with Parks & Rec. Here are just a few of the reasons why:

  1. Have fun. Everyday there is something new and creative to do at Parks & Rec summer camp. Activities include games, sports, arts & crafts, and more!
  2. Make friends. Campers meet peers from the neighborhood at our rec center camps. At our theme camps, young people connect over shared interests! Camp is the place to build friendships that last beyond summer!
  3. Stay cool. Water games, pool visits, and spraygrounds are just a few of the ways campers stay cool all summer at Parks & Rec. This year, camp swim lessons will help campers grow their confidence in the water!
  4. Be safe. Our rec leaders and camp staff connect and engage with children to give them a fun, safe experience. All camps offer after camp care, and many offer before care, for busy parents and caregivers.
  5. Fuel up. We provide every camper with breakfast and lunch each day to fuel the fun and keep kids strong and healthy.
  6. Explore. On field trips, kids make summer memories by visiting new places, trying new things, and connecting with nature.

Summer camps are available at Parks & Rec sites across Philadelphia. Camp begins on July 1 and runs through August 16.
