Are you having difficulty paying your Real Estate Tax in full and on time? Contact us today to see if you qualify for a current year installment plan. March 31 is the deadline for paying Philadelphia’s 2022 property tax. But don’t wait to contact us if you know you can’t pay your bill by this deadline.

The Revenue Department offers a range of property tax relief programs that you can take advantage of. For example, our Senior Citizen Real Estate Tax Freeze program stops Real Estate Taxes from increasing in the future for qualifying seniors. You can apply to this program now through January 31, 2022.

Seniors can also apply for our Real Estate installment plan today! This program will help you pay your bill in monthly installments between now and December 31 of this year.

All senior citizens – as well as certain low-income taxpayers – qualify, as long as they own and live in their Philly homes. The 2022 applications are now open through March 31, and the process is simple. Just complete this form and mail it, along with supporting documents, to:

Philadelphia Department of Revenue
P.O. Box 53190
Philadelphia, PA 19105

If approved, the program breaks down your bill into eight monthly payments that are more affordable. If you enrolled in a Real Estate Installment Plan last year, you don’t need to reapply. We will automatically re-enroll you this year.

If you don’t live in your home and need help with a payment plan, we can still get you into a standard agreement with the City. Call us today at (215) 686-6442 for more information.
