At Philly311, we aren’t strangers to issues around COVID-19. Between March 2020 and now, we’ve processed over 45,000 COVID-19 related inquiries.
We recently expanded our call center to offer more services to Philadelphians impacted by the pandemic. Here are eight ways we can provide assistance for COVID-19 related issues. Call 311, or 215-686-8686 if outside Philadelphia, for help with:
PHL Rent Assist
Have questions about the PHL Rent Assist program or need help filling out the application? We can help with that! Give us a call and one of our agents will be happy to get your questions answered or fill out the application for you. Call 311 and press 7 when prompted.
Vaccine appointment scheduling
Many appointments are available at City-run COVID-19 vaccination sites. If you need help getting an appointment scheduled at one of the City-run vaccination centers, call 311 and press 6 when prompted.
CCT ride scheduling to a vaccine center or clinic
Seniors 65+ and residents with disabilities and/or functional and access needs can get a free SEPTA CCT ride to a city-run vaccination center or FEMA clinic. Call 311 to schedule your ride at least 48 hours in advance of your appointment. To schedule your ride, call 311 and press 4. Residents who meet the above criteria and need a ride to a non-city run clinic may qualify for a free Lyft service. Call us for more information.
Food and meals are available for students, older adults, and any person or family in need of supplemental food during COVID-19. If you need help finding free food, call 311 and an agent will assist you to find the closest food site to your address. You can also find food sites on the food distribution map.
Looking for COVID-19 testing because you have symptoms or you’ve been exposed? Our call agents can help you find a site to get tested or refer you to a testing event. You can find testing opportunities on the Department of Public Health’s testing site map.
Vaccine center complaints
You can contact 311 if you have a complaint regarding a vaccination center. This includes City-run as well as non City-run clinics. Your complaint will be forwarded to the Department of Public Health. Please call 311 and an agent will assist you.
If you have general questions about COVID-19, our agents will be happy to point you in the right direction to get your questions answered.
We’re excited about our new staff members and are ready to take your calls! Again, if you are calling from outside Philadelphia, be sure to dial 215-686-8686.
