UPDATE (5/16/19): You can watch our Facebook LIVE broadcast from Vet Fest 2019. Thanks to Carlo Aragoncillo and Kim Parrish for all the great information.
The Department of Revenue is joining Vet Fest 2019 on Thursday, May 16. Our staff will share information about tax and water bill assistance programs in person and on a live video stream during the event.
The annual, festive veterans resource fair brings many government agencies and private sponsors together in one location. Veterans and their families can learn about job opportunities, medical care and City services. They can also enjoy free food and entertainment.
During Vet Fest, attendees can ask Revenue employees about:
- Property tax discounts,
- Payment agreements for back taxes,
- Water bill help,
- Business tax credits, and more.
Revenue will also broadcast live on Facebook. Tune in at 12 noon, when we’ll interview:
- Carlo Aragoncillo, the Director of the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Veterans Affairs.
- Kim Parrish, a Marine Corps veteran and member of Revenue’s Tax Credits and Assistance Programs unit.
Vet Fest 2019 is from 12PM – 4PM in Thomas Paine Plaza, next to the Municipal Services Building, in Center City.
