Safety & emergency preparedness

Get notified when an incarcerated person is released

If you are in immediate danger, please call 911.

If you have been the victim of abuse and your abuser is in jail or prison, you may want to sign up for PA SAVIN. PA SAVIN stands for Pennsylvania Statewide Automated Victim Information & Notification.

It is a free, confidential, and automated service that keeps you up to date on the status of an offender housed in a Pennsylvania state jail or prison. If you sign up for PA SAVIN, you will be notified if an incarcerated person is released, transfers, or escapes.

Register for automated notifications

To sign up for notifications, see:

Registration for automated notifications should only be one part of a comprehensive safety plan for victims of crime.
