Candi Blossom Jones is the Chief Human Resource Officer for the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Human Resources. Prior to this role, Candi served as the First Deputy Director for the Office of Human Resources and has a 13-year career with the City of Philadelphia. Candi serves as the executive responsible for overseeing all aspects of human resources management for the City of Philadelphia’s 30,000-person workforce, advancing the Mayoral priorities and the priorities of the Civil Service Commission.

Candi has a strong interest in diversity and inclusion, employee engagement, and building pathways to meaningful and long-term government careers. Candi possesses a bachelor’s degree in English from Johns Hopkins University and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from the University of Baltimore. She is both SHRM and HRCI certified, is a Certified Compensation Professional, and possesses the Diversity and Inclusion for HR Certification from Cornell University. Most importantly, Candi is the parent of an amazing 13-year-old student-athlete, Langston.
