PPR cares about youth, with more than 700 cultural and educational programs for kids each year. While PPR offers a diversity of programming for youth throughout the city, our two major initiatives are our After School Program and Tot Recreation program.
In Partnership with Philadelphia Corporation for the Aging, Philadelphia Parks & Recreation provides many programs and services designed for Older Adults, most of which are held at our Older Adult Centers.
Our department provides programming opportunities for all people.
Strength-Based (Trauma-Informed) Leadership Programs is a touring, award-winning series of social skill programs that use the arts to build resiliency in children, youth, teens and families, as well as clinical and non-clinical professionals.
The Philadelphia Activities Fund offers financial support to programs and organizations that encourage the instruction and education of individuals which will train, develop and improve their capabilities.
