Programs
The Division of Planning, Preservation and Property Management plans, protects, interprets and manages Philadelphia's public parks and facilities. The Division's primary responsibilities are:
Implementation of capital construction projects
Management of land acquisitions
Development and review of landscape and architectural designs and construction documents
Conducting research and policy analysis
Development of geographic data, analysis and cartographic renderings
Designation of historic landmarks and national register properties and districts
Management and administration of the Department’s architectural archives
Implementation of the Department’s sign program
Development, monitoring and administration of grants
Management of Department's properties and the creation of licenses, leases and other property agreements
Development of Department's capital budget and program and various planning documents
