The City of Philadelphia’s first Community Tech Expo will distribute 1,600 laptops and expand digital access for residents.
In partnership with Mayor Cherelle L. Parker and Temple University, the Office of Innovation and Technology is hosting the first Community Tech Expo for Philadelphia residents. We’re giving away 1,100 laptops to pre-registered residents, including older adults and youth. Our goal is to help bridge the technical divide and promote digital empowerment citywide.
At the Community Tech Expo, event attendees can expect:
During the event, 500 laptops will be distributed to attendees on a first-come, first-served basis. Eligible recipients must arrive at the event by 10 a.m.
