Minority Enterprise Development (MED) Week is a national observance that recognizes the outstanding achievements of Minority Business Enterprises (MBEs). The event also honors corporations and financial institutions that support minority business development.
 
The 40th annual Philadelphia MED Week will provide minority business owners with connections and resources to help them grow. This year’s theme is “Investing in the Future: 40 Years of Helping Minority Businesses Lead the Way.”

Throughout the week, organizations will host:
  • Hybrid networking events.
  • Panel discussions.
  • Workshops. 
Business owners are the heartbeat of Philadelphia’s economy. Join us as we support minority-owned businesses with capacity-building efforts.

    This event's panel will feature John Dawkins, a McDonald’s franchise owner, and his daughter Danielle, who will share their experiences transitioning leadership within their family business. 

    Whether you're currently involved in a family business or considering how to plan for the future, this panel will provide valuable insights and practical advice to help you navigate the complexities of succession planning.
