The Workforce Renter Assistance Program (WRAP) recruits talented workers to move to Philadelphia for a variety of jobs with the City of Philadelphia and the School District of Philadelphia.

This program supports qualified individuals interested in a new career in Philadelphia. It provides:

  • Short-term relocation and rental assistance.
  • Housing counseling and paths to homeownership.

This program is part of Mayor Cherelle L. Parker’s H.O.M.E. Initiative.

Process and eligibility

WRAP applications are for specific hard-to-fill positions within the City of Philadelphia, the School District of Philadelphia, and Philadelphia Charter Schools. If you are an employee with one of those agencies, please contact your Human Resources department to learn more.
