Bringing new talent to the City by helping with relocation costs and temporary rental assistance.

The Workforce Renter Assistance Program (WRAP) recruits talented workers to move to Philadelphia for a variety of jobs with:

  • The City of Philadelphia
  • The School District of Philadelphia, and
  • Philadelphia Charter Schools.

This program supports qualified individuals interested in a new career in Philadelphia. It provides:

  • Short-term relocation and rental assistance.
  • Housing counseling and paths to homeownership.

This program is part of Mayor Cherelle L. Parker’s H.O.M.E. Initiative.

Process and eligibility

WRAP applications are for specific hard-to-fill positions within the City of Philadelphia, the School District of Philadelphia, and Philadelphia Charter Schools. If you are a recent hire with one of those agencies, please email WRAP@phila.gov to see if you may be eligible and how to apply.
