Volunteer Support Program
Offering free trainings to help organizations learn how to recruit, manage, and retain their volunteers.
About
The Volunteer Support Program is a free training series for organizations that rely on volunteers to support their missions. The goal is to help these groups develop the skills to successfully recruit, engage, and manage volunteers.
Our trainings are open to attendees across a variety of positions and experience levels, including organizational leads, volunteer coordinators, community organizers, and others.
Trainings for individuals and groups
Individuals can register for a training online. The trainings are fully virtual, and a different one is offered every other month.
Groups can request a specific training by contacting us at volunteer@phila.gov. You can also learn about posting a volunteer opportunity on the Mayor's Volunteer Corps portal.
