Last week, after the announcement of the new Municipal Energy Master Plan, a few hundred miles away, our Senior Energy Analyst, Mardi Ditze, was recognized for her work in the energy industry.

Mardi traveled to Atlanta, GA for the World Energy Engineering Congress, an annual conference addressing global energy management, renewables around the world, lighting efficiency, and more. Mardi had been nominated for the Energy Professional Development award presented by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE), a nonprofit professional Association of over 18,000 members.

The AEE presented over 80 regional awards to individuals and organizations around the world. Mardi was honored for her dedication and performance in training and development in energy efficiency and the renewable energy industry in the northeast region.

AEE provides opportunities to continue learning and for professional development.  I used these opportunities to continue progress for Philadelphia’s Greenworks Vision planning.  It’s a tremendous honor to be recognized by the leading association in the industry for the work I do in Philadelphia.  I look forward to continuing progress!
