As part of the update to Greenworks, Philadelphia’s sustainability plan, the Office of Sustainability (OOS) set a long-term vision for a city where all Philadelphians efficiently use clean energy that they can afford. To move us toward this future, OOS has been working with issue experts and stakeholders to develop a comprehensive citywide energy vision (actions the city and others can undertake to move Philadelphia toward a clean, affordable, and healthy energy future) and a municipal energy master plan (strategies and investments local government can make to reduce energy costs and usage in its own buildings, as well as promote renewable energy).

In this session, OOS will update interested residents and stakeholders on the status of the visioning process, including outcomes from the May listening session, online survey, and analysis completed by OOS staff and consultants on the future of Philadelphia’s energy system. OOS will discuss a draft outline of a citywide energy vision report and solicit feedback from attendees on next steps.

OOS will be holding two engagement sessions in June: Saturday, June 24th (10-11:30 AM) and Wednesday, June 28 (4 to 5:30PM). Please RSVP for only one of the two sessions. The agendas will be identical.

Please RSVP for only one of the two sessions. The agendas will be identical.
