File Lobbying Registrations and Expense Reports Online

The City’s lobbying law requires electronic filing of lobbying registrations and quarterly expense reports and also mandates that the Board create a searchable electronic database for the mandatory electronic filings. The online Philadelphia Lobbying Information System, PLIS, is available to receive lobbying registrations and quarterly expense reports. A searchable database of lobbying information is also available with all electronic filings from January 1, 2014.
An interim paper filing system was implemented from January 1, 2012 – December 31, 2013. For Lobbying reports prior to 2014 please contact the Board at 215-686-9450.

Regulation 9

Board Regulation No. 9 implements the City’s lobbying ordinance. The regulation explains the registration and reporting requirements and restrictions that apply to lobbyists, lobbying firms, and principals. The regulation also provides helpful examples.
