Port Richmond Industrial District Complete Streets study

The Philadelphia City Planning Commission is working on a complete streets study in the area from Allegheny Avenue to the Frankford Creek between Aramingo Avenue and the Delaware River.

The items on this page will be shared at the December 1, 2025, community meeting for feedback on proposals to the transportation network. This meeting will be held at the Columbia Social Club, 3521-29 Almond Street, Philadelphia, PA 19134, and is hosted by the Port Richmond on Patrol and Civic registered community organization (PROPAC).

Opportunities for improvement include add new traffic signals, slow down traffic turning right on red when entering the I-95 onramp, and to potentially add sidewalk-level, curb-protected bike lanes.
