Philadelphia Trail & Sidepath Maintenance Plan

Philadelphia’s trail and sidepath network is an integral part of the City’s transportation system, with many miles in the pipeline slated for future completion. Recognizing this need, the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Transportation, Infrastructure, & Sustainability (OTIS), with support from the Department of Parks & Recreation, the Department of Streets, and the Philadelphia City Planning Commission, initiated the Philadelphia Trail & Sidepath Maintenance Study. The purpose of the study is to support the City’s goal of maintaining a high-quality trail and sidepath network by developing a comprehensive plan for maintaining the existing and future network.
