The program organizes outdoor baseball leagues. The baseball programs provide a safe place for youth to:
- Learn the fundamentals of baseball.
- Build self-confidence and resilience.
- Develop sportsmanship and leadership skills.
- Improve their physical and mental health.

League details
- What: Philadelphia Parks & Recreation Baseball leagues.
- Who: Philadelphia youth ages 7 to 17. No experience is necessary.
- Where: Teams play at local clubs, youth organizations, and recreation centers.
- When:
- Outdoor baseball runs from April through June.
- How: visit your local recreation center for more information and to register.
Each season concludes with championships, playoffs, and an awards banquet. Follow the baseball program on Facebook. Please note that all cancellations and other league updates will be posted on social media.
