The project will upgrade the Market Street (from 23rd to 15th streets) and JFK Boulevard (from 15th to 20th streets) corridors by building on the documented successes of the parking-separated bike lanes and bus lanes. The project will add concrete curbs and medians plantings, and bus boarding islands to create a greener, more beautiful, and safer Center City. This project will also add a bicycle connection on 20th Street and add bus improvements and traffic calming on the block between Market Street and JFK Boulevard.
