What we do
The Office of Youth Engagement (OYE) knows that young people have important ideas about how to make the City a better place to live.
As part of our work, we support the efforts of the Philadelphia Youth Commission and the Millennial Advisory Committee. By participating in these groups, young people can:
- Develop leadership skills.
- Bridge gaps between generations.
- Suggest ways for City government to better serve its residents.
OYE is part of the larger Office of Public Engagement.

2020 is the year to stand up, be counted and be heard! The census and election season are upon us!
Join the Mayor's Millennial Advisory Committee as we kick off a year of action to engage Philadelphians - particularly young Philadelphians - throughout the city to stand up and have their voices heard.
Come to meet the experts leading Philadelphia's census and voter participation efforts; stay to brainstorm how we can all work together throughout 2020 to make this year the most civically engaged in our history.
Enter City Hall on the Northeast visitor's entrance. Please bring a photo ID.
