This mural pays tribute to West Philadelphia’s civic giants — community organizers, public servants, and leaders whose vision helped shape the neighborhood’s heart and soul. The mural features (L to R) Dr. Herman Wrice, Congressman Lucien Blackwell, CB Kimmins, Tim Spencer, David Fattah, Olympian John Baxter Taylor, Jr., Senator Vincent Hughes, Mayor Michael Nutter, Senator Hardy Williams, Curtiss Jones, Sr., Senator Freeman Hankins, Edgar “Sonny” Campbell, Jr., and Congressman Bob Brady.  It honors the men who championed justice, opportunity, and progress both in West Philly and beyond. Set against bold colors and familiar landmarks, their portraits embody the vibrancy, resilience, and enduring spirit of the community. This mural stands as a lasting testament to their leadership and the generations they continue to inspire.
