The City of Philadelphia released road closure information for the 2026 Philly Pride March and Festival that will take place on Sunday, June 7.

Festival Activities & Information
This year’s event will begin with the Pride March beginning at 11 a.m. While floats, banners of corporations, large institutions, and vehicles will not be permitted, the march is open to the public and all are welcome to join in the celebration. The march will begin at 13th Street and Locust Street and end at 21st and Benjamin Franklin Parkway where the Philly Pride Festival will begin at noon.

Philly Pride 2026 is a street festival celebrating the LGBTQ+ community and will feature community resources, youth and family programming, a low-sensory relaxation zone, and a sober space and dry bar area.

Festival admission is $10, with options to support community access. The Pride March remains free.

Philly Pride March Route
All participants in the Philly Pride March will assemble at Spruce Street between Juniper Street and 12th Street and 13th Street between Locust Street and Pine Street beginning at 9 a.m.

The above-listed streets will be posted as “Temporary No Parking” zones beginning at 8 a.m.

The march will commence at 11 a.m., starting at 13th and Locust Streets and proceeding northbound on 13th Street to Market Street, westbound on Market Street to Juniper Street, northbound on Juniper Street to John F. Kennedy Boulevard, westbound on John F. Kennedy Boulevard to 16th Street, northbound on 16th Street to Benjamin Franklin Parkway, westbound on Benjamin Franklin Parkway and ending at 21st Street. The march is scheduled to conclude at noon.

Philly Pride Festival
Immediately following the conclusion of the Philly Pride March, the Philly Pride Festival begins. The festival will take place from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. The following streets will be closed starting at 5 a.m. until approximately 9 p.m. on Sunday, June 7:

  • Benjamin Franklin Parkway, between 20th Street to Eakins Oval, including cross streets
  • Spring Garden Street Tunnel
  • Spring Garden Street Bridge inbound
  • Kelly Drive inbound lane will be detoured to Pennsylvania Avenue

Cross traffic is permitted at 20th Street and 21st Street as conditions allow.

Parking Restrictions
The above-listed streets will be posted as “Temporary No Parking” zones from 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sunday, June 7. Motorists must adhere to “Temporary No Parking” signs. Vehicles parked in these locations during posted hours will be relocated. If you believe your car has been relocated, call the police district of the area where your car was parked.

Public Transportation
SEPTA Bus Routes 7, 32, 38, 43, 48, and 49 will be detoured from their normal routes beginning at 4:30 a.m. on Sunday, June 7 through approximately 10 p.m. Detours will be posted, and specific route changes are available on the System Status Page at www.septa.org.

Public Safety Information
Throughout the event, the City will provide law-enforcement support, traffic control, and emergency medical services for the event and in the surrounding vicinity.

Attendees should never leave bags or other items unattended. In the event of an emergency or to report a suspicious person, activity, or item (backpack, package, container, etc.), notify a police officer immediately or call 9-1-1. Do not try to open, move, cover or touch a suspicious item.

In addition, the public should expect congestion in the area. If you are attending the event, make a plan regarding driving, public transit, parking, and supervision of children. It is recommended that attendees wear comfortable, weather-appropriate attire.

Trash Removal
At the conclusion of the event, all trash collection and street cleaning will be managed and handled by the Sanitation Department. If you need to report any excess trash in the area, post-event, residents can call 3-1-1 or 215-686-8686.
