Are you looking for a fun and creative way for your child to spend the summer? Our Visual Arts Summer Camp is the perfect place for young artists to learn new skills, make friends and create amazing artwork!


Camp Details:

  • Who: Kids living in Philadelphia, ages 6-12 years old.
  • Dates: July 6 to August 14, 2026.
  • Days and Times: Monday through Friday, 9a.m. to 3p.m.

What Campers Will Do 

Real artist will teach kids how to paint, draw, make sculptures, and take photos. Campers try different classes every day. Each week, they will spend two days painting or drawing and two days making sculptures. This camp is perfect for kids who are excited to create art.

Food and Trips 

  • Meals: Breakfast is served at 9a.m. and lunch is served at noon. Food menus will come out in late June.
  • Bringing Food: Campers can bring their own lunch. There are refrigerators to keep food cold.
  • Field Trips: Parents will get a trip calendar by email and at the camp. Parents must sign a permission slip before every trip.

Cost and Registration 

  • Price: $350
  • Waivers: A limited number of fee waivers are available for Parks & Rec summer camps. The number of fee waivers are based on funds available.
