Need help with your tax or water account? Give us your name and number, and we’ll call you back!  Our goal is to provide taxpayers and water customers with friendly, efficient, and prompt service.  We recently updated our customer service kiosk system to reduce wait times.

The system is now easier to use. It’s interactive and user-friendly, but doesn’t replace our customer service representatives. We only use kiosks to give you greater control over your visit and help us serve you better. Keep reading to learn more.

Skip the line – request a callback online

Got a question about your tax or water bill? Request a callback online! Access the Department of Revenue’s kiosks from your smartphone, tablet, or computer. It’s fast, easy, and secure. You can request a callback from anywhere. No need to travel to Center City. We’ll call you back within 24 hours and will do our best to solve your issue over the phone. The online kiosks are also a great way to schedule in-person appointments.

It only takes a few clicks:

  • Visit phila.gov/revenue/appt.
  • Select the blue “Get started” button in the middle of the landing page.
  • Choose the service you want so the system can connect you with the right representative.
  • Next, select “Join waitlist” or “Book appointment.” You’ll need to enter your name and phone number to get a callback. For appointments, please enter your name and number, as well as the date and time of your appointment.

Try our physical kiosks!

Visitors to the Municipal Services Building (MSB) in Center City can use our self-service kiosks to get paper tickets and track their place in line. No need to stand in line. When it’s your turn, you’ll get a personalized alert. You’ll get the notification 15 to 20 minutes before your appointment, so you can return and show up on time.

The best part? Check-in buttons and appointment booking screens are now available in Spanish and Chinese! The Department of Revenue understands that not all taxpayers or water customers speak English as their first language. Our goal is to ensure that our information and services are accessible to everyone, regardless of their language.

Water customers can also call (215) 685-6300 and leave a message to receive a call back. When prompted, press #0, then #3, and follow the instructions.

  • Be sure to include your name, phone numberand email address in your message.
  • A water representative will return your call within 24 hours.
