1) Make a difference at a rec center near you.
TEENS:
- Reach out to your local rec center for possible positions as a Camp Counselor RSI.
2) Keep swimming pools open for city youth.
TEENS AND ADULTS:
- Do your part to make sure all City pools open this year as a Parks & Rec lifeguard.
TEENS 18 & OVER AND ADULTS:
- Keep pools open and operating as a Pool Maintenance Attendant.
3) Make a difference in our parks.
ADULTS:
- Care for neighborhood parks as a Seasonal Maintenance Attendant (SMA).
- Welcome and assist park visitors and ensure public safety as a Seasonal Park Ranger.
4) Support Parks & Rec’s city-wide sustainability initiatives.
ADULTS:
- Track organic recycling, illegal dumping, and herbicide application as a Data Analysis Specialist.
- Help reduce waste and boost recycling, composting, and other general sustainability initiatives as a Recycling and Compost Specialist.
