PHILADELPHIA—In response to the changing landscape of COVID-19, the Health Department is ending the biweekly distribution of COVID-19 press releases. This does not mean this is the end of COVID-19, only regular press releases on that subject. The rest of the ongoing response to the COVID-19 pandemic continues. In the event the situation changes, the Health Department will issue press releases as needed and may, if the situation warrants, restart regular press release updates on the COVID-19 pandemic.

For the latest on the pandemic, the public and press are encouraged to visit the City’s COVID-19 website. For data on testing, cases, hospitalizations, deaths, and wastewater testing, visit https://www.phila.gov/programs/coronavirus-disease-2019-covid-19/testing/testing-data/. For the latest on the number of people hospitalized with COVID-19, visit the state’s dashboard at https://www.health.pa.gov/topics/disease/coronavirus/Pages/Cases.aspx.

The Health Department continues to recommend that Philadelphians stay up-to-date on their COVID-19 vaccinations, stay home if they are sick, get tested if they feel sick, continue to wash hands and use hand sanitizer, and wear a mask if you are in public around a lot of people.
