If you live in Philadelphia and have returned from incarceration at any point in the past, we want to hear from you about your housing needs. Please consider completing the survey below, which takes about 10 minutes.

The Office of Community Empowerment and Opportunity (CEO) and JEVS Human Services seek to better understand the impact that a lack of affordable housing has on people in reentry and their families. This may result in a report released to the public about the findings of all respondents and recommendations for more housing opportunities.

Twenty respondents to this survey will be randomly selected to receive a $50 Visa or Mastercard gift card. If you want to enter the random drawing, please provide your contact information at the end of the survey. If you do not want to provide contact information, you can remain anonymous but will not be entered into the random drawing. The deadline to respond is July 31.

As part of its work to support justice-involved individuals, in 2021, CEO partnered with JPMorgan Chase and Clarifi to provide financial and housing counseling and housing supports to individuals in re-entry. In addition to the financial and housing counseling funded by CEO and JPMorgan Chase, CEO also funded micro-grants of $1,000 and targeted additional grants from the Office of Homeless Services to provide funds to participants to pay for housing move-in or ongoing rental assistance.

Help the City better understand housing needs for those in reentry. The deadline to respond is July 31.
