Mayor Kenney to Undergo Medical Procedure

PHILADELPHIA – The City of Philadelphia announced today that Mayor Jim Kenney will undergo a medical procedure on Tuesday, January 25. The Mayor will be treated for atrial fibrillation through an ablation procedure—a routine, minimally invasive medical treatment.

Mayor Kenney will be undergoing anesthesia for the procedure, and will be out of the office Tuesday and Wednesday. The Mayor plans to return to work beginning Thursday, January 27.
