Each summer, Philadelphia Parks & Recreation offers both neighborhood day camps and specialized theme camps at our playgrounds, recreation centers, and parks across the city.
Some of our summer camps are already full, but others are still accepting registrations. Check out these options and register today to guarantee your child’s spot!

Intro to the Performing Arts Camp

Gotta sing? Gotta dance? This is the camp for youth ages six to 10 with an interest in the performing arts. Campers take classes in creative movement, drama, and music. All campers will perform in a showcase at the Dell Music Center. Fee includes lunch and a snack.

Sports Camps

Campers will be introduced to a variety of sports including basketball, baseball, football, hockey, and more. They’ll also take part in literacy activities, arts and crafts, and more.

Summer Rowing Camp

Have you ever dreamed of rowing on the river? Are you interested in learning how to row? This camp is a great opportunity for local teenagers to do just that. Campers will be taught the basics of the sport. This theme camp is held at Lloyd Hall on historic Boathouse Row. Breakfast and a snack will be provided. Campers must bring their own lunch.

Visual Arts Day Camp

Summer camp focused on visual arts—drawing, painting, sculpture, printing, and fiber arts. Campers will also enjoy board games, indoor and outdoor play. Meals, snack, and beverages are included.
