PHILADELPHIA – During the week of June 7th trash and recycling collections will be one day behind schedule, announced Streets Commissioner Carlton Williams. Residents should set their materials out one day after their regular collection day.

The trash volume from the Memorial Day holiday and the severe weather during the week of May 31st has caused delays in collections. Crews are still working to collect Friday’s materials left over from last week. They will work to clear the remaining materials today and Monday, June 7th.

The Streets Department apologizes for this inconvenience. We thank residents for their patience and cooperation.
