Are your days jam-packed with virtual meetings, events, and happy hours? Every Friday is Philly Counts Friday – dress down in your Philly Counts census gear and help spread awareness about the 2020 Census during your virtual gatherings.

We are packing up orders of Philly Counts gear (with clean hands and masks on, of course!) for contactless delivery at our office on Thursdays. Every pickup comes with a set of 2020 Census talking points, to provide you with a few facts to share on your virtual meetings.

We ask that you share photos of you in your Philly Counts or other census gear on social media with a fact about the Census using #PhillyCounts. P.S. If you don’t already, you should follow the hashtag! It’s a great way to stay up-to-date with census posts from other Philly residents.

You can also download our virtual meeting background. Simply add the graphic to your background on Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc., to give your peers an extra reminder about the 2020 Census!

To schedule your gear pickup, click here. Delivery can be arranged, but it will take longer. Please reach out to Mark.Rooney@phila.gov

Thank you, Philly Counts fam, for helping us get the word out about the 2020 Census!

Looking for other ways to take action?

Here are two easy ways to help every Philadelphian get counted this year.

  • Create a 2020 Census window sign!

Grab some markers, paint, or whatever you have on hand and get creative. Let your neighborhood that your household counts in 2020, and theirs should too! Take a photo and share it on social media using #PhillyCounts.

  • Join a Philly Counts phone banking session!

We are calling households across the city to remind them that they can now complete the 2020 Census, why it’s important to participate, and how to complete the form. We provide the phone numbers and script. Interested in chatting with other Philadelphians about the census? Sign up to phone bank here

We ALL count in Philadelphia!
