March over to your local Community School! There’s something for everyone this month. Stop by and pick up fresh produce, take part in a fun exercise class, or sign up for a volunteer opportunity! All this, and more, is available for free throughout the city! 

Please note – many previously listed events are now canceled, and more cancellations may occur. 

While schools are closed, students can access meals and activities at 80 locations around the City. Learn more.

What: Philabundance produce distribution at Edward Gideon school
When: Every Monday, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (Note – this event is canceled March 23)
Where: Edward Gideon School, 2817 W. Glenwood Ave., 19121

Pick up free, fresh fruits and vegetables provided by Philabundance. This produce distribution is held outside of the school, weather permitting.

What: Get Fit Saturdays at Murrell Dobbins CTE High School
When: Every Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. (Note – this event is canceled March 14 and 21)
Where: Murrell Dobbins CTE High School, 2150 W Lehigh Ave., 19132

Come out to Dobbins on Get Fit Saturdays for healthy activities for the whole family. This weekly fitness-and-fun event includes tai chi, yoga, youth basketball, babysitter certification, and more! Special thanks to Health Partners Plans for supporting Zumba.
