Mayor Kenney participated in a ceremonial bell ringing at the Betsy Ross House on September 11 to honor our brave first responders. He attended the ceremony alongside Police Commissioner Richard Ross, Fire Commissioner Adam Thiel, Prisons Commissioner Blanche Carney, and Councilman Mark Squilla.
As the son of a firefighter, I was particularly moved by the heroics of the first responders on that fateful day and the following weeks. It's important that we recognize them and thank them, not just today when we are reminded of their bravery, but every day. pic.twitter.com/6H0sqLxDLX
