School is back in session, pumpkins are slowly showing up on stoops, and the weather is finally starting to cool down… autumn is almost here!

Our parks, playgrounds, and recreation centers are celebrating the changing seasons with a variety of fun fall festivals. See what’s going on this month, and stay tuned for even more later in the season!

Fall Fine Art Show

The Rittenhouse Square Fine Art Show is Philadelphia’s premiere and distinctive outdoor fine art experience. The art show will feature art professionals and talented students from local art schools in the center of the square.

Fall Family Festival

Hang out with family (or friends, or neighbors!) at the 8th Annual Fall Family Festival. Hosted by Children’s Crisis Treatment Center, this festival will feature music, snacks, and arts & crafts, as well as family medical information.

Fall Flea Market

Campbell Square will hold a fall flea market this September. The cost is $15 to host a space. Come shop and meet your neighbors!

A tractor takes a group for a ride

Fall Festival and Arts & Crafts Show

Enjoy an afternoon of seasonal games, pumpkin painting, apple cidering, crafts, and more at this annual festival. Admission is free, with activities pay-as-you-go (typically $0.25 to $1.00). Food and pumpkins will also be available for sale.

Manayunk Harvest Fest

Bring your family to enjoy a full day of live music, seasonal activities, food vendors, and all things fall in Pretzel Park and all along Main Street.

Harvest Fest

Gorgas Park will have a Harvest Festival, jam-packed with pumpkins, scarecrow making, food, games, and more!
