Join us for a pop-up event in LOVE Park exclusively for LGBTQIA+ youth. Come out and celebrate your LGBTQIA+ identity at Pride and Chill! Enjoy snacks and games and get to know other LGBTQIA+ youth in Philly!

 

My Queer Body Story Workshop

Enjoy the My Queer Body Story Workshop, an artistic collaboration with First Person Arts at BahdeeBahdu Gallery. Participants will learn how to build and share their personal stories about being queer/trans/nonbinary and the bodies we live in. Registration is required for this event as space is limited.

 

Pride in the Plaza & LGBT Flag Raising Ceremony
Thursday, June 7th, 5-8 pm
City Hall Courtyard
Join the Mayor’s Office at Pride in the Plaza as we kick off LGBTQIA+ Pride Month with a flag raising ceremony and block party on June 7th! The flag raising with the Mayor, members of City Council, and dynamic speakers from the community will occur from 5-6 pm followed by a truly prideful celebration with food trucks, a DJ, and live entertainment in the City Hall Courtyard from 6-8 pm.

Watch the Philly skyline go rainbow for Pride Month! Witness The Ben Franklin Bridge, Boathouse Row, CHOP, PECO, and other buildings light up in the iconic rainbow colors through the weekend of June 8th-10th!

 

“What Does Pride Mean to You?” Exhibit Opening

See the phenomenal works of local LGBTQIA+ artists answer the question “What Does Pride Mean to You?” in a dynamic art exhibit at multiple locations throughout the city including the 1st floor of City Hall starting on June 8th!

 

Pridefest at Penns Landing for 30 Year Anniversary
Sunday, June 10th
Parade starts at 11:30 am at 13th and Locust
Festival Gates at Penn’s Landing open at Noon
Over 100 participating groups will contribute to the 30th anniversary of Pride Day, headlined by Margaret Cho! Follow the parade starting at 11:30 am at 13th and Locust as well as Pridefest at Penns Landing, which opens at noon!

 

The Philadelphia Free Library Pride Series: Screening of Philadelphia

The Office of People with Disabilities and Disability Pride have collaborated to include an LGBTQIA+ section in the Disability Pride Parade on June 16th. Come out and support our LGBTQIA+ siblings and neighbors with disabilities as they proudly march to City Hall and celebrate their intersecting identities!
