Hundreds of people stream into the Department of Revenue’s walk-in center at the Municipal Services Building in Center City every week.  They come with many different questions, requests and needs.

Sharee Cain, acting Director of the Taxpayer Services Unit, plays a leading role in processing that big mix of people, and turning their visits into successful experiences.

We asked her what customers can expect when they come through our doors, including what services the Department of Revenue provides daily. These include:

  • Payment of tax and water bills
  • Obtaining payment coupons
  • Payment of refuse fees
  • Signing up for assistance programs
