The Philadelphia Fire Department Warehouse operates under the Fire Department Inventory Manager and is responsible for the ordering, receiving, recording, storing, and delivery of firefighting and EMS equipment and supplies, as well as routine stationary and janitorial supplies to all Fire Stations.

The Warehouse coordinates and assists the Equipment Officer, EMS Apparatus and Equipment Officer, Safety Office, and the Hazardous Materials Administration Unit in the purchasing of firefighting and EMS equipment and supplies. Further responsibilities include picking up damaged equipment from Fire Stations and delivering the mail within the Fire Department.
