Looking for a job over the summer? The Office of Children and Families supports the WorkReady program, run by the Philadelphia Youth Network. WorkReady helps teens and young adults engage in meaningful summer employment.
Young people involved in the child welfare or juvenile justice systems are given priority for enrollment!

Eligibility
To apply to this summer employment program you must be:
- Between the ages of 12-24.
- A resident of Philadelphia.
- Not enrolled in college.
Preference is given to youth involved with DHS services. Families who are receiving services from the Department of Human Services (DHS) are given priority for DHS-funded OST programs. For information on how to sign up, you can:
- Contact your case manager to request a referral code
- Call (267) 502-3900 and share your referral code
If you are enrolled in the Achieving Independence Center, you can also sign up with your Life Coach.
