SPARK Innovation Academy

Transformative Technology for Nonprofits

The Office of Innovation and Technology’s new learning and networking opportunity for nonprofits.

We’re accepting applications! Apply online by Friday, November 14 at 5 p.m.

As the City’s tech steward, OIT is bringing nonprofit professionals together for a nine-week course. The goal is to strengthen digital capacity and resilience. Powered by Thomas Jefferson University’s Nexus Learning model, this program blends hands-on learning with peer collaboration.

This cohort of 20 nonprofit professionals will:

  • Gain practical innovation tools.
  • Grow their professional network.
  • Master technologies that will improve their work, including:
    • Collaboration tools.
    • Surveys and data visualization tools.
    • Concept mapping and reframing.
    • Social media design and strategies.
    • AI tools.

Through hands-on training, you’ll gain the skills to spark innovation and drive lasting change — every single day. You can learn more about the program and application on this page or download the complete program guide.
