Mayor Parker’s Extended Day/Extended Year (EDEY) initiative includes 30 district-run schools and 10 charter schools. EDEY schools provide free:

The Mayor's Office of Education partners with the Office of Children and Families, the School District of Philadelphia, and participating charter schools to offer this program. It is jointly funded by the City and the school district.

Summer Achievers at EDEY Schools is a 6-week summer camp for rising 1st through 8th graders. Camp runs from June 22nd to July 31st.
