Enhancing neighborhood pride with $100,000 investments in beautification improvements for selected blocks.

The Curbside Appeal Program invests in beautifying residential blocks. The program aims to enhance neighborhood collaboration, community building, and quality of life for Philadelphia residents, while strengthening neighborhood identity and pride.

Selected blocks will receive up $100,000 and residents may choose to invest in any of the following improvements:

  • Debris removal
  • Lawn restoration
  • Downspout planters
  • Selective tree trimming
  • Fence installation and repair
  • Certain sidewalk repairs
  • Other improvements

This program is coming soon as part of Mayor Cherelle L. Parker’s H.O.M.E. Initiative.

Process and eligibility

The City will begin accepting applications in Spring 2026.

Who can apply?

  • Homeowners.
  • Renters with consent from owners.
  • Only residents in census tracts who make 100% or less of the area median income.
