To mark national Fire Prevention Week, representatives of the Insurance Society of Philadelphia (ISOP) will team up with the Fire Department to install smoke alarms in the Strawberry Mansion section of the city.

This is the fifth year that the ISOP and the Fire Department have partnered to bring these life-saving devices to families in need. Over the past five years, the ISOP has raised more than $335,000 in text-to-pledge campaigns at its annual Independence Gala to fund the project.

The smoke alarm installation event is part of the Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation’s Week of Giving.
