PHILADELPHIA – In partnership with the Philadelphia 2016 Host Committee, Visit Philadelphia, the Philadelphia Convention and Visitors Bureau as well as various city, state and federal agencies, the City of Philadelphia compiled an online media kit for the Democratic National Convention. This kit includes planning documents on parking, road closures, expected demonstrations and various DNC-related events. It is available HERE.
Please note, the kit also includes contact information and operating hours for the Joint Information Center. Any media with questions regarding the Democratic National Convention should first reach out to the Joint Information Center at 267-321-1300 beginning Saturday, July 23, at 1PM. The number of the JIC should not be published, it is for planning only. Reporters are also encouraged to visit the Philadelphia Media Resource Center at WFC Media Pavilion #906.
