3:00 PM Mayor Kenney to Speak at Community Conversations Press Conference
The Mayor, Director of the Mayor’s Office of Black Male Engagement (OBME) Jack Drummond, Deputy Mayor for Public Engagement Nina Ahmad and President of the Community College of Philadelphia Dr. Guy Generals will speak at this press conference to announce the Community Conversations initiative. The Community Conversations initiative is a collaborative effort between OBME and CCP’s Center for Male Engagement to host monthly forums where community members and leaders discuss challenges, opportunities, and solutions to dismantle inequities that impact the lives of men and boys of color in the city.

4:00 PM Mayor Kenney to Tour N. 22nd Street Commercial Corridor 
The Mayor will remind residents to shop local during the holidays and promote the commercial corridor as open for business despite construction.

8:00 PM Mayor Kenney to Attend Allen Iverson’s Check Presentation
The Mayor will join Executive Director of the Philadelphia Police Athletic League Ted Qualli as Sixers legend Allen Iverson presents the organization with a $25,000 check, representing the proceeds from his Summer Classic. The Mayor will also present Allen Iverson with a Liberty Bell in recognition of all he has done for Philadelphia.  Both presentations will take place during the game’s first timeout.
