WHAT: Mayor Jim Kenney and city officials will participate in a groundbreaking ceremony for JFK Plaza/ LOVE Park. The park and the Welcome Center have been redesigned and will be renovated in 2016 and will reopen in 2017.

Mayor Kenney will also make a special announcement about the immediate future of LOVE park as an historic attraction for skateboarding.

WHEN: Wednesday, February 10, 2016, 11:00am

WHERE: Welcome Center and JFK Plaza/LOVE Park Corner of 15th Street and JFK Boulevard Philadelphia, PA 19102
